This isn’t a topic I expected to unpack right out of the gate. I don’t think much about the role of submissive women in romantic relationships. By definition, I don’t describe myself as a submissive person. Am I nurturing and caring? Absolutely, but not submissive. Words matter. Lovers and Friends podcast hosted a fantastic interview about submissive women that sparked the latest wave of conversation around the Internet and this episode. The joy of these conversations is realizing the parts you can take away for yourself.
